Who will benefit

All individuals that are required to test portable appliances. Ideally have a reasonable understanding of basic electrical principles would be an advantage. A pre-one day course is recommended for those individuals who do not have a fundamental understanding of elementary electrical principles.

Course Content
Day 1 Theoretical concepts of testing and the use of testing equipment
Day 2 Practical testing applications
The Course will relate directly to the IET Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 4th Edition
Course Assessments
Course assessment and a 2-hour multi-choice exam

Note: Electricians who have achieved 17th Edition (2008) may require an up-date on Amendment 3
